Vision: To serve the homeless and those in need by sharing the kindness and compassion of volunteer outreach; focusing on their unique needs through the provision of temporary refuge and food; and empowering those with a desire to stabilize and improve their lives.

Drop-in-Center is a Sunday community center for homeless people and the working poor in downtown Long Beach. We strive to provide a haven from the weather and the harsh conditions of the streets on Sunday afternoons.

We have a computer lab to allow poor people to get on the internet to find work, write resumes, find family or just relax. If you are talented in that area, we can use more volunteers.

We have a nurse who comes once a month to administer to the uninsured poor.

• Prep – to Food Service - 10:00AM - 2:00PM…
• Transition /Set up - 11:30AM -12:30PM
• Food Service12:30PM - 4:00PM.
• Closing and Clean up 2:00PM - 5:00PM…
